Bio

A flight instructor since 1975 with more than 15,000 hours — over 12,000 of them given as instruction — Michael is a ten-time Master Instructor and FAA Gold Seal instructor, and a recipient of the FAA's Wright Brothers 'Master Pilot' Award. He owns and serves as chief instructor of Aviation Instruction at Camarillo Airport in California, specializing in primary through CFI training, tailwheel, high-performance, and recurrent instruction. He is also the Program Administrator of the Master Instructor program and Chairman of the Board of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE).
