Leadership
The people behind the program
MICEP is a member-run peer-review program: each portfolio is handled by at least two reviewers, properly documented portfolios typically take two to three weeks, and the denial rate is about 3%. Master Instructors LLC was established in 2009 to give the program greater autonomy while preserving impartiality in the designation process.
The leadership group recognizes excellence, upholds the standard, and keeps the designation process separate from any one school, employer, or commercial interest.
