Arrive at the en route checkpoints within five minutes of the initial or revised estimated time of arrival (ETA) and provide a destination estimate.

Bottom line

GS, heading, and time for any flight can be determined by using the wind triangle. The heading and GS, as calculated, is constantly monitored and corrected by pilotage as observed from checkpoints.
