Confirm takeoff power prior to brake release and verify proper engine and flight instrument indications prior to rotation.
Bottom line
The last check as power is brought to full takeoff power includes confirming that power is correct, engine rpm is normal, the engine is smooth, and engine instruments are normal and in green ranges. Assuming the runway length is appropriate for takeoff, typical takeoff acceleration should allow the airplane to reach 70 percent of lift-off airspeed by the midpoint of the runway.
