Right-of-way rules.
Right-of-way rules.
Bottom line
When weather conditions permit, each person operating an aircraft must maintain vigilance to see and avoid other aircraft, regardless of whether the operation is conducted under instrument or visual flight rules. When a rule of 14 CFR 91.113 gives another aircraft the right-of-way, the pilot shall give way and may not pass over, under, or ahead of it unless well clear.
