ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Disembarking passengers safely on the ramp and monitoring passenger movement while on the ramp.

Bottom line

The airport ramp can be a complex environment with airport personnel, passengers, trucks, other vehicles, aircraft, and errant people and animals. Ramps are usually quite slippery, so pilot and passengers must be very cautious of their footing when walking on the ramp. The pilot should ensure the safety of the passengers by cautioning them to move on the surface only as directed.
