Seaplane Post-Landing Procedures (ASES, AMES)
To determine the applicant understands anchoring, docking, mooring, and ramping/beaching, can apply that knowledge, manage associated risks, demonstrate appropriate skills, and provide effective instruction.
Bottom line
To beach a seaplane means to pull it up onto a suitable shore surface so that its weight is supported by relatively dry ground. Ramping is defined as using a ramp to get the seaplane out of the water and onto the shore.
