Collision hazards.

ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Collision hazards.

Bottom line

The airspace used for flight training and practice may be crowded, creating a potential collision hazard. Proper clearing procedures, combined with proper visual scanning techniques, are the most effective strategy for collision avoidance. The learner should execute the appropriate clearing procedure before all turns and before executing any training maneuver.
