Singapore Airlines and DHL renew five-aircraft Boeing 777 freighter partnership
The agreement continues flight-crew and maintenance support for an established long-haul cargo link through Singapore.
Singapore Airlines and DHL Express have renewed their crew and maintenance agreement covering five Boeing 777 freighters based at Singapore Changi Airport, according to a joint company announcement.
Singapore Airlines pilots will continue operating the aircraft, and its engineers will oversee maintenance. The freighters connect DHL’s South Asia Hub in Singapore with destinations in the United States, supporting time-sensitive express and e-commerce shipments.
The aircraft entered service progressively from 2022. The renewal concerns an existing Boeing 777 operation; the joint announcement does not specify a five-year extension or announce an Airbus A330 freighter fleet.
