“"Savannah's answer to speed and altitude."”
Gulfstream unveiled the G650 in 2008, chasing the holy grail of business aviation: Mach 0.925 and 7,000 nautical miles. The FAA certified it on 7 September 2012, and the first customer took delivery on 27 December 2012. Then came the stretched G700, announced in October 2019, with a new wing, Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, and a top speed of Mach 0.935. After a lengthy certification campaign, the FAA signed off on 29 March 2024, with deliveries starting that April. Together, the family has claimed over fifty world speed records.
