Maintain VY +10/-5 knots to a safe maneuvering altitude.

Bottom line

When a safe airspeed is achieved, establish the pitch attitude for the best rate of climb (VY) and complete the climb checklist. An attempt to climb prematurely may result in the airplane not being able to climb or even maintain altitude at full power.
