When approaching an entrance to a runway, bring the aircraft to a complete stop, or be in a phase of taxiing that has no risk of causing a runway incursion, before continuing with operational duties and checklists. Complete as many checklist items as possible before initial taxi, once the aircraft is clear of equipment and personnel.
