ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Comply with seaplane base/airport/taxiway markings, signals, and signs.

Bottom line

It is important for pilots to know the meanings of the signs, markings, and lights used on airports as surface navigational aids. The taxiway centerline is a single continuous yellow line that provides a visual cue to permit taxiing along a designated path. The purpose of the enhanced centerline is to warn the pilot that he/she is approaching a runway holding position marking and should prepare to stop unless cleared onto or across the runway by ATC.
