Configure the airplane as recommended by the manufacturer, and accelerate to best angle of climb speed (VX) or best rate of climb speed (VY).

Bottom line

The flap setting should be reduced from full to approach, or as recommended by the manufacturer. The airplane should be accelerated to VX (if simulated obstacles are present) or VY during recovery and climb.
