How to conduct proper lazy eights.

ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

How to conduct proper lazy eights.

Bottom line

A lazy eight gets its name from the aircraft's extended longitudinal axis tracing a flight pattern in the form of a figure "8" lying on its side. The load factors incurred in lazy eights depend directly on the speed of the dives and the abruptness of the pull-ups during the maneuver. Generally, the better a lazy eight is performed, the less extreme the load factor induced.
