Performance and Limitations

ACS task objective

To determine the applicant exhibits satisfactory knowledge, risk management, and skills associated with operating an airplane safely within the parameters of its performance capabilities and limitations.

Bottom line

The performance information in the AFM/POH has little or no value unless the user recognizes those variations and makes the necessary adjustments.
