Use of an electronic flight bag (EFB), if used.
Use of an electronic flight bag (EFB), if used.
Bottom line
Manage the amount of EFB information to the most pertinent data for the specific flight, adjusting for phase of flight, single pilot operation, autopilot availability, class of airspace, and weather conditions encountered. A portable electronic device may be used if the operator of the aircraft has determined it will not cause interference with the navigation or communication system of the aircraft on which it is to be used. When charts are displayed on an EFB at night, its brightness should be set so as not to seriously impair night vision.
