ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Distractions, task prioritization, loss of situational awareness, or disorientation.

Bottom line

Most stall/spin accidents result when a pilot is momentarily distracted from the primary task of flying the aircraft. Fatigue, stress, or work overload can cause the pilot to fixate on a single perceived important item rather than maintaining an overall awareness of the flight situation. When a work overload situation exists, a pilot needs to stop, think, slow down, and prioritize.
