Common errors related to this Task.

Bottom line

An error is a deviation from intended or expected actions caused by the flight crew that causes confusion, increases workload, absorbs attention, reduces safety margins, increases risk, and may lead to undesired aircraft states. There are two kinds of errors: slips, which are errors of action, and mistakes, which are errors of thought. Errors are a natural part of human performance, and beginners as well as the most highly skilled experts are vulnerable to error.
