Low altitude maneuvering, including stall, spin, or controlled flight into terrain (CFIT).
Low altitude maneuvering, including stall, spin, or controlled flight into terrain (CFIT).
Bottom line
Pilots should be aware that a spin recovery will take considerable altitude; therefore, it is critical that corrective action be taken immediately. Terrain that rises faster than the seaplane can climb is an obvious consideration, both for the eventual takeoff as well as in case of a go-around during landing.
