Position the airplane properly relative to hold lines.

ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Position the airplane properly relative to hold lines.

Bottom line

When instructed to hold short, taxi up to, but do not cross any part of the runway holding marking. At a towered airport, runway hold markings should never be crossed without explicit ATC instructions. The enhanced taxiway centerline warns the pilot that he or she is approaching a runway holding position marking and should prepare to stop unless cleared onto or across the runway by ATC.
