Securing items and cargo.
Securing items and cargo.
Bottom line
Cargo may be carried if it is in an approved cargo rack, bin, or compartment installed in the airplane. Cargo secured by safety belt or other tiedown must have enough strength to eliminate the possibility of shifting under all normally anticipated flight and ground conditions. The placement of baggage and cargo items determines the CG location.
