How to determine required landing distance and a suitable runway for landing.

Bottom line

Landing distance available is the length of the runway declared available and suitable for landing an aircraft. Unfactored certificated AFM landing distance is the landing distance required without any factors applied. A time of arrival landing assessment considers temperature, airplane weight and configuration, approach speed at threshold, adjustment to landing distance such as autoland, and planned use of airplane ground deceleration devices.
