ACS element text (the applicant demonstrates understanding of)

Low altitude maneuvering, including stall, spin, or controlled flight into terrain (CFIT).

Bottom line

Loss of control in-flight (LOC-I) is an accident caused by the pilot not maintaining control of the airplane, and many LOC-I accidents are the result of stalls, spins, or accelerated maneuvers. In order for any airplane to spin, a stalled condition needs to exist, and at the stall the presence or introduction of a yawing moment can initiate spin entry. Controlled flight into terrain (CFIT) is an event in which a normally functioning aircraft is inadvertently flown into the ground, water, or an obstacle.
