Stall warning awareness.
Stall warning awareness.
Bottom line
The longer it takes for the pilot to recognize an impending stall, the more likely it is that a full stall will result. Indications of an impending stall can include buffeting, stick shaker, or aural warning. The stall situation can be aggravated by a T-tail configuration, which affords little or no pre-stall warning in the form of tail control surface buffet.
