Acknowledge the cue(s) and promptly recover at the first indication of an impending stall (e.g., buffet, stall horn, stick shaker, etc.).
Bottom line
Indications of an impending stall can include buffeting, stick shaker, or aural warning. The longer it takes for the pilot to recognize an impending stall, the more likely it is that a full stall will result. When the airplane reaches the stall warning, the recovery is made first by reducing the AOA until the stall warning is eliminated.
