Demonstrate taxi during day and night operations. If either condition is not available, the applicant explains the differences between day and night taxi.

Bottom line

Extra caution should be used when directed by ATC to taxi onto or across a runway, especially at night and during reduced visibility conditions. Taxi operations require constant vigilance by the entire flight crew, not just the pilot taxiing the airplane.
